Top 10 Active Baseball Players

These are players with the best careers.

10: Chipper Jones - Atlanta Braves. He is a reason why the Braves won their 14 straight divison titles. His career batting average is above .300, he has over 400 home runs, and over 2200 hits.

9: Derek Jeter - New York Yankees. Call him overrated but he has still been the captain of the Bronx Bomer since 1995. He has taken the New York Yankees to 6 World series. Yes their has been a lot of talent but he is still the captain and one of the best defensive shortstops of his era.

8: Mariano Rivera - New York Yankees. He is one of the best closers ever. When the Yankees got to the Ninth with the lead it was almost like the game was over.

7: John Smoltz - Atlanta Braves, Detriot Tigers. What can I say he is the only player with 200 wins and 150 saves. He also has over 3000 strikeouts.

6: Trevor Hoffman - San Diego Padres, Florida Marlins. The All-time saves leader has to be up here. He quietly got 500 saves. His record may be broken but it is still an amazing feat.

5: Manny Ramirez - Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians. He may be a little "Odd" at times but he is still of the most compleate hitter of his era. With over 500 homeruns he will reach 600 and be one of the best hitters ever. He also helped the Red Sox get their first world

4: Alex Rodriguez - New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, Seattle Mariners. He is one of the best hitter of his era. He will more than likely break Barry Bonds Homerun record and maybe a few more at that. He is just going to reach feats that may be reached again.

3: Randy Johnson - Arizona Dimondbacks, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees. The best K pitcher in his era. He is second on the all-time list for strikeouts and may soon be in the 300 wins club. Johnson deserves to be up here at #3.

2: Ken Griffey jr - Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners. He is a great hitter and one of the best ever. He has over 600 Homeruns and is going into the Hall of Fame for sure. He would be at 800 Homeruns if he hadn't gotten injured so many times.

1: Greg Maddux - San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs, Los Angles Dodgers. He is the best pitcher of his era. He has over 350 wins and 3000 strikeouts and has done it all with his junk. He reached a feat that only 9 players have reached and a feat no one will ever reach again.

If you disagree with anything I think tell me I always like to hear other peoples input.
